At Guns and Gear, we are able to hold transfers of firearms between private sales and from other FFL Dealers. We act in compliance with the ATF and Iowa state law for all purchases and transfers. 

Firearm Transfers to Guns and Gear fee is $15 USD.

Firearm Purchases: You must be at least 21 years old to purchase or possess a handgun, or to get a carry weapons permit and You must be at least 18 years old to purchase rifles and shotguns.

You must not have a felony conviction. 

Must have Valid ID. Must either present a Valid Permit to acquire or Submit to NICS background check prior to firearm transfers and purchases. 

Firearms prior to being brought into our store front must be UNLOADED and CLEAR of all ammunition.
